I had a flight today that I can assure you that your app failed where the DJI GO 4 app did not.
I fly the Inspire 2 and I have been an autopilot fan for a long time. However there are serious issues with your app that if you do not address I will need to use GS PRO.
I nearly lost my drone today because of autopilot. My drone cost me $9000NZD. It is very expensive. I also have clients with me so I cannot afford for an app to fail. I am using the latest iPad Pro.
I was flying a waypoint mission when as usual using your app it disconnected with the aircraft, completely, with no way to reconnect. Your app is fine at short distances but as soon as you get out to 1km it normally disconnects. This is really scary, because I then need to close your app and reopen the DJI GO 4 app which cant reconnect easliy as the drone needs to be switched off first then you open the app then turn on rc followed by the aircraft, of course you cant do this with the machine in the air. It took about 4 minutes to reconnect to the DJI GO 4 app. Thankfully it did and I was able to continue the mission using the DJI app. If I didn’t have enough battery I would have lost the Inspire 2. The machine then was able to fly out to 1km without disconnecting. So there is a definite range issue with your app.
I am sending you this because I have always supported your app, because its so easy to use. So I hope you can firstly admit that there is a problem and then fix it. If you do not accept there is an issue with your app please let me know. However I am convinced it is your app as I have proved. If you cannot accept this then the problem will not be fixed.
